Dr. Kimberly Monday is a practicing Neurologist and currently serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Operations in the Department of Neurology at the University Of Texas McGovern School Of Medicine. Prior to her current tenure at UT, she led the Houston Neurological Institute for twenty years. Dr. Monday has been named a "Super Doc" by Texas Monthly magazine and "Top Doctor" by both H Magazine and The Consumer's Guide to Top Doctors. She has served as President of the Harris County Medical Society, Houston Academy of Medicine, and Texas Neurological Society. She currently serves on the Texas Medical Association Board of Trustees and the Memorial Hermann Physician Network (MHMD) Board of Directors.
Dr. Monday is a native Texan and grew up in Huntsville, Texas. After graduating from the Plan II Honors Program at The University of Texas, Dr. Monday completed her medical training, neurology residency and chief residency, at Baylor College of Medicine. She received fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at Emory University in Atlanta, specializing in intra-operative monitoring, diagnostic sleep medicine, electromyography and electroencephalogram. Dr. Monday holds board certifications from the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and sleep medicine.
