Harris Health System is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Nicholas which is forecast to become a strong tropical storm before it makes landfall this evening along the middle Texas coast. However, it is the flooding rainfall that is the greatest threat.
Outpatient Services
In preparation for a significant rain event, Harris Health is closing today at 3 p.m. all Ambulatory Care Services locations, including the Ambulatory Surgical Center at LBJ, Riverside Dialysis Center and all infusion and radiation therapy services. ACS clinics will reopen to regularly scheduled appointments Wednesday, Sept. 15 at noon.
All hospital-based procedural areas (GI, IR, Cardiology, etc.) will complete today’s schedule, but will be closed Tuesday. Hospital-based procedural areas will resume normal schedules Wednesday, Sept. 15.
