Ben Taub Hospital Surgical Unit Garners National Award for Patient Care

Harris Health System’s Ben Taub Hospital received the Beacon Award (Silver Level) for Excellence in patient care by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

Ben Taub Hospital has maintained its Level 1 trauma center designation, avoiding a potentially crippling reduction in trauma services for an already underserved region, officials said Friday.
