HOUSTON (June 20, 2011) – The Harris County Hospital District opens its newest health center solely dedicated to pediatric and adolescent patients on Monday, June 27. The Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center is located in Pasadena, Texas, at 3925 Fairmont Parkway.
HCHD’s Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center doctors from Baylor College of Medicine care for newborns to teens up to 18 years of age. They will offer an array of services including the treatment of acute and chronic diseases and the coordination of healthcare services.
Specialty care includes pulmonary, developmental/high risk, special needs, rheumatology, gastrointestinal, psychiatry, behavioral health therapy and adolescent weight management with psychology.
The health center offers primary and specialty care and has 20 exam rooms and can accommodate 24,000 patient visits annually.
