Inpatient and outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation are offered at Quentin Mease Hospital, which was accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, receiving the highest quality rating for physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Patients undergo a comprehensive evaluation by a team of physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, speech-language pathologists, social workers and dietitians. Based on the results, functional outcomes and patient/caregiver goals are set.
The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program provides specialized care for an array of disabilities, including stroke and cardiac conditions, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, multiple traumas, amputations, orthopedic injuries and neuromuscular and neurological disorders.

In 2010, Harris Health’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program opened a 15,000-square-foot outpatient rehabilitation center, which includes an 8,500 square foot gymnasium, 19 treatment rooms and three private rehabilitation suites. This state-of-the-art Houston physical therapy center offers real solutions and hope for recovery to residents with a wide range of injuries and disabilities.
