Quentin Mease Community Hospital is a 49-bed hospital located five miles east of the Texas Medical Center. The hospital includes a CARF-accredited 25-bed physical medicine and rehabilitation program, 24-bed geriatric program and outpatient adult specialty care.
The physical and medicine rehabilitation program consists of a 15,000 square-foot state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, including an 8,500 square-foot treatment gymnasium, 19 rehab treatment rooms and three private rehab suites. The physical and medicine rehabilitation program provides accredited and skilled care for an array of disabilities, including stroke and cardiac conditions, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, multiple traumas, amputations, orthopaedic injuries and nueromuscular and neurological disorders.
Outpatient adult specialty clinics located at Quentin Mease Community Hospital include: general medicine, adolescent medicine, the VIVA (Violent Initiative vs. Violent Acts) clinic, pelvic clinic, endocrinology, neurology and dermatology.
The Quentin Mease physical and medicine rehabilitation program, geriatric program and outpatient adult specialty clinics are staffed by Baylor College of Medicine physicians and a dedicated team of nurses, social workers, rehab specialists and other healthcare professionals focused on providing patients exceptional care.
