Regular Diet (blue kit)

​Your physician has ordered a special diet for you based on your current medical condition.

You’re on a regular diet, which is a nutritionally balanced diet of up to 2,000 calories per day, based on your selections or the general house menu.

This is a general, healthful, nutritionally-balanced diet with a variety of foods. It’s based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and gets its variety from grains, proteins, vegetables, fruits and dairy foods.

This diet is appropriate for individuals without nutrition-related problems, or for individuals who need more flexible food choices to help improve their intake.
