Conflicts Disclosure

Board of Trustees

Members of the Harris Health System Board of Trustees must comply with Local Government Code, Chapters 171 and 176, and Texas Government Code, Chapter 783.

If board members become aware of facts that require them to file conflicts disclosure statements or questionnaires per Chapter 176, Local Government Code, they will complete the appropriate forms, which will be posted and maintained on this website during the course of the members' service to Harris Health for as long as the conflict exists.

Currently, there are no required filings.

Employees, Vendors, and Volunteers
Harris Health expects employees, volunteers and vendors to exercise attention, good judgment and prudence in their relationships, obligations and financial interests so that they do not conflict with the interests of the system or the performance of their duties. Harris Health's Conflict of Interest Policy provides guidelines for these individuals for conducting public business free from the influence of personal and private interests.

Non-employed Medical Staff
Medical staff members are required to adhere to the Conflict of Interest policies of their respective affiliated organizations. Corporate Compliance works with the Compliance Offices of the affiliated organizations when conflicts arise.
