The mission of Nursing at Harris Health System is to "optimize health and provide healing services to our patients and community through safe quality care delivery, coordination of care, and education." This is performed while honoring the legacy and healing ministry of our nurses who have served Houston’s most vulnerable patients. Harris Health Nursing has a rich past, dynamic present and promising future.
Nursing’s Strategic Plan provides vision for advancing nursing practice based on its goals. One of the goals is to develop a collaborative, learning nursing organization.
