Long-Term Disability Policy

​Purpose: To establish guidelines for the payment of Long-Term Disability benefits.
  • Eligibility:
    • Full-time employees who work 32+ hours/week with 1 year of continuous service.
  • LTD applies to non-work-related illnesses or injury lasting more than 26 consecutive weeks.
  • Base benefit:
    • 55% of base pay
    • Buy-up benefit adds 10% if enrolled
  • Maximum monthly benefit:
    • $17,500
  • Benefits start after the 26-week elimination period and may continue until normal retirement age or maximum benefit period
  • Employees must apply through the Third-Party Administrator and provide medical documentation
