Paid Birthing and Bonding Benefits Policy

​Purpose: To establish guidelines for Paid Parental Leave benefits.
  • Eligibility:
    • Full-time birthing or non-birth parent after birth, adoption, or foster placement of a minor child.
  • Benefit Amount:
    • Birthing Parents - 3 weeks birthing 1-week bonding benefit
    • Non birthing parents 1-week bonding benefit
  • Timing:
    • Birthing parent leave begins immediately
    • Non-birth parents must be used within 1 year.
  • Usage Rules:
    • Must be taken in one continuous block
    • Cannot exceed two uses in a rolling 12-month period.
  • Documentation:
    • Must provide required proof to third-party administrator within deadlines.
  • Return to Work:
    • Birthing parents need medical certification
    • Non-birthing coordinate return with HR.
