Order your free at-home COVID-19 tests today. Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order four free at-home COVID-19 tests. The tests are completely free and provided by the federal government. Orders usually ship in 7-12 days.
 
If you test positive for COVID-19 with an at-home test, call Harris Health System’s Ask My Nurse at 713-634-1110 and select prompt “2” for COVID-19 positive test or related medical symptoms. A nurse will answer your questions and set up a virtual appointment if necessary. 
 
U.S. Government N-95 Masks Distribution Program
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say N-95 masks provide better protection than cloth face coverings against the omicron variant of COVID-19. The federal government is now providing free N-95 masks to Americans beginning next week at retail pharmacies and community health centers.
 
Harris Health encourages its patients and all Harris County residents to take advantage of this free resource. Most of the pharmacies that have partnered with the government to distribute COVID vaccines will participate in the mask program. Masks are not being provided through home delivery. The N-95 masks are only available for pickup in person. Please check with your local pharmacy for availability.
