Ambulatory Care Services 
ACS services, clinics, and outpatient dialysis services will be open Saturday, January 24, 2026 under normal operations; however, due to the winter storm, all locations will close early at 4 p.m. On Monday, January 26, 2026, all ACS clinics, outpatient dialysis, ambulatory surgery center, and endoscopy center will be closed.  Telephonic visits for some patients will occur on Monday.  Staff that work remotely will continue to work under normal operations on Monday.  Plans for Tuesday operations will be finalized as additional forecast information becomes available over the weekend.

Saturday, January 24, 2026
ACS services, clinics, and outpatient dialysis centers will be open under normal operations, however, they will close early at 4 p.m.
 
Monday, January 26, 2026
All ACS clinics, outpatient dialysis center, ambulatory surgery center, and endoscopy center will be closed.
Patient appointments via telephone will be conducted for select patients.  Those patients will be contacted.
Remote staff will continue working under normal operations.
 
Tuesday, January 27, 2026
Operational plans for Tuesday will be finalized once additional forecast information becomes available over the weekend.  Further updates will be communicated as soon as possible.

Administrative Buildings (Loop Central, Fournace Place, Warehouse, Telecommute)
Fournace, Loop Central, hybrid and telecommute staff should plan to work from home on Monday. If you are unable to work from home, please contact your immediate supervisor.

Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital​

Important operational updates:
Monday outpatient appointments and elective procedures have been rescheduled.
Only staff assigned to Ride Out duties should report to work.
Staff who are not assigned should remain home until notified for recovery operations.
Visitation will end at 2 p.m. Any exceptions   will need to be approved by the House Supervisors. 

Arrival and Check-In Instructions for Ride Out Staff:
Parking: Requesting that staff working the 7 a.m. shift on Saturday to park on levels 7, 8, & 9 (unless they are a part of the ride-out team) to make room for the incoming ride-out team reporting at 4 p.m.  Security will be on site to assist with parking flow and access.
Report: Ride Out staff must be on site by 4 p.m. and report first to the NPC Basement for check in and assignments from supervisor.

Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital

Important operational updates:
Monday outpatient appointments and elective procedures have been rescheduled. 
Only staff assigned to Ride Out duties should report to work. 
Staff who are not assigned should remain home until notified for recovery operations. 

Arrival and Check-In Instructions for Ride Out Staff:
Parking: Park in the LBJ staff garage to protect your vehicle from ice and weather conditions.
Check-In: All Ride Out staff must scan their Harris Health ID badge at the Patient Parking Entrance upon arrival. This is required to document your presence.
Report: After checking in, report directly to your supervisor or manager for assignments.
