Harris Health provides face-to-face, over the phone, telehealth and video on demand interpretation services to patients in all hospital and outpatient settings. Interpretation staff help facilitate conversations between patients in their preferred language and their caregivers or other health professionals.
While the most frequent language interpretation is English to Spanish, interpretive services are available in 250 languages including American Sign Language (ASL).
Interpretation services may be requested by asking any healthcare staff member to contact the Interpretation Services Department for assistance.
