Are you looking for a private space to access Harris Health resources or connect to a telemedicine appointment? Harris Health has partnered with community leaders to create Connect to Health, allowing Harris County residents to receive Harris Health services virtually.
Connect To Health allows you to join a telehealth appointment, access your MyHealth portal and other community resources in a private telemedicine health booth. These four booths are available throughout Harris County. If you have had limited access to equipment, connectivity, or any other barriers, Connect to Health allows you to seek care when needed.
Community Access Points: Harris Health patients can access health information, resources and attend virtual visits with a physician at any of our telemedicine access points. This private space includes medical equipment for patients to use for routine health screenings, including a state-of-the-art blood pressure machine and industrial scale, along with a complete telemedicine setup (computer, camera, speaker, keyboard, mouse, and printer).
- SHAPE Community Center (3rd Ward, Precinct 1), 3815 Live Oak St, Houston, TX 77004
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8 a.m.- 6 p.m., Saturday – 9 a.m.-4 p.m. - Jim & JoAnn Fonteno Senior Education Center (Precinct 4), 6600 Bissonnet St., Houston, TX 77074
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Telemedicine Health Booths: Booths serve as dedicated spaces where patients can engage in discussions, consultations, or telehealth appointments with the assurance that their video visits remain private and secure at no additional cost. Each booth is a private and sound-dampening “pod” complete with a telemedicine setup (computer, camera, speaker, keyboard, mouse, and printer).
- Mangum Howell (Precinct 2), 2500 Frick Rd, Houston, TX 77038
- Leon Grayson (Precinct 2), 13828 Corpus Christi St, Houston, TX 77015
Step-by-step instructions (English, Spanish and Vietnamese) are available to assist patients through the video visit process, as well as accessing MyHealth. These enclosed spaces provide a secure environment where sensitive discussions can occur without the risk of unauthorized access or eavesdropping. This is particularly important in healthcare, where the protection of patient information is a legal and ethical requirement.
