An e-visit is a convenient way to request health advice and treatment for common, non-urgent medical conditions. With e-visits, patients communicate with their provider through their MyHealth account. E-visits are not video visits. Patients receive a written communication from their provider within the next business day.

What is MyHealth?

MyHealth is a secure website portal that allows patients or a designated family member to access personal medical information and clinic services online, and to communicate with their Harris Health care team. MyHealth should only be used for non-urgent issues, and never for an emergency situation.

With MyHealth, you can:

  • Request medical appointments.
  • View your health summary from the MyHealth electronic health record.
  • View test results.
  • Communicate electronically and securely with your medical care team.

You can also download the MyChart app to access your MyHealth account.

How Do You Sign-up for MyHealth?

Harris Health patients 18 years and older may request to activate a MyHealth account by using one of these options:

  • Ask a nurse or provider to help activate an account during your next visit.
  • Ask the front desk representative for an access code at check-in. Or find your access code on your After Visit Summary (AVS) following your appointment.
  • Request an account from the MyHealth website – an access code and instructions will be sent to the email address you provide.
